WHAT The Quilt Trail is -  (The images above show some of the trail.)

Hand-painted Quilt Blocks mounted on Barns and Businesses on the roadways that travel through the charming towns and beautiful rural countryside of 12 counties in East Tennessee >Bledsoe, Bradley,Grundy, Hamilton, Loudon, Marion,  McMinn, Meigs,Monroe, Polk, Rhea,  and Sequatchie .

These counties comprise the service area of theSoutheast TN Resource Conservation and Development Council.
The Heritage Quilt Trail is one of the projects of the  SETN RC&D Council (click here to link to SETN RC& D website)

 The mission of  RC&D Councils across the nation is to be involved in community enhancing programs and projects,  from water conservation  to economic initiatives for small businesses like the Quilt Trail.
